Highland, KS - In Game one, the Neosho Panthers rolled to an 8-2 win over Highland on Saturday, powered by a huge day at the plate from Kamden Bray. Bray went a perfect 3-for-3, blasting a home run to left in the third inning and adding singles in the fifth and seventh. Neosho got things started early in the second inning. Bray was hit by a pitch, Reece Norris followed with a single to left, and Jayden Willard drove in a run with a ground out, helping the Panthers jump out in front. Highland answered in the bottom half of the inning with a solo home run to center by Feurt, but Neosho quickly regained control. Bray's two-run homer in the third stretched the lead and gave the Panthers momentum they wouldn't give back. On the mound, Bray also delivered a strong performance. The right-hander went the distance, allowing five hits and two runs over seven innings while striking out six and walking one to earn the win. Chanute, KS -  Both teams showcased strong pitching performances Thursday, but Neosho Panthers edged out Johnson County with a 2-1 victory behind a complete game from Kamden Bray, who recorded all 21 outs, giving Johnson their first conference loss. Johnson County struck first in the top of the opening inning when Glassford launched a solo home run to center field on a full count, giving his team an early 1-0 advantage. From there, Bray settled in, limiting further damage and keeping the game within reach. Neosho Panthers responded in the bottom of the fourth inning, capitalizing on a Johnson County miscue. An error allowed the tying run to score, and shortly after, Brenna Kohlmeier delivered a clutch double to left field that brought in the go-ahead run, putting Neosho ahead 2-1. Bray earned the win with an impressive outing, allowing six hits and one run over seven innings while striking out eight and walking two. Whitehurst took the loss for Johnson County.  Offensively, Sadie Bowyer, Jayden Willard, and Kohlmeier each recorded a hit for Neosho Panthers. Kansas City, KS - Neosho Panthers dropped game 1, 7-4 to KCK on Saturday. Neosho came out strong, getting on the board first in the opening inning when Brenna Kohlmeier ripped a double to bring in a run. Favy Najar, Kaylee Parker, Delaney Hill and Kohlmeier each had two hits to pace the Panthers' offense. Abbi Godfrey led the charge at the plate, blasting two home runs—one in the first inning and another in the fourth—and driving in three runs. The Panthers wasted no time setting the tone, launching three home runs in the opening inning. Brenna Kohlmeier's three-run shot to center field got the scoring started and sparked an early surge. The offense kept rolling in the second inning, where Neosho erupted for six runs on six hits. Iola, KS- The Panthers won both games of the doubleheader in Iola against Allen to win the series 3-1. The final in game 1 was 20-16 and the final in game 2 was 14-8. In game 1, the offense scored 20 runs off of 17 hits and put up at least 1 run in every inning. 7 Panther hitters recorded multiple hits with Maverick Williamson and Gabe Rice both hitting a home run. Zach Grossnickle got his 5th win of the season on the mound. In game 2, the offense stayed hot scoring 14 runs off of 15 hits. 5 Panther hitters recorded multiple hits with 2 more long balls coming from Carson Hilton and Tucker Akins. Chanute, KS- The Panthers split the first doubleheader at home against Allen. The final score of game 1 was 8-1 in a losing effort but the team bounced back in game 2 to win 16-5. In game 1, the Panthers jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st thanks to a RBI from Luke Briley. Unfortunately, that was the only scoring from the offense in the game. In game 2, the story was a little bit different as the Panthers scored 16 runs off of 13 hits. Of those 13 hits, 9 of them were for extra bases including 4 home runs, 2 of which came from JD Troutman. Maverick Williamson and Tucker Akins were responsible for the other 2 long balls.
